Founded in 1989, the company specializes in solutions for shipping, loading and offloading, shipment tracking, freight payment, fleet accounting, and overall supply chain management. Its platforms enable businesses to monitor and manage large volumes of railcars—tracking hundreds of thousands daily—while improving visibility, efficiency, and cost control. In addition to software, Bourque offers hands-on logistics services such as shipment monitoring and expediting, proactive issue resolution, invoice processing and payment management, and railcar maintenance coordination. The company works closely with carriers and service providers to reduce delays, optimize fleet performance, and streamline administrative tasks. Bourque Logistics Timeline
Bourque Logistics (then Bourque Data Systems, Inc) was incorporated and released its flagship software application RAILTRAC®, providing its clients the ability to easily track their railcar fleet. The application was written in the DOS operating system.
RAILTRAC® was converted to a windows based, database application.
YardMaster® was released, providing in-plant management capabilities to our clients.
RAILAcct® was released, providing clients with a user-friendly platform to manage railcar maintenance activities.
Industry leading multi-mode freight audit and payment application.
Bourque Logistics
Bourque Logistics converted its applications to its current a web-based hosted platform.
Bourque Logistics
Bourque launched its Shipment Management Services assisting clients in managing their day-to-day rail activities.
As railroads adopted EDI capabilities, Bourque Logistics leveraged this technology providing our clients a standardized billing platform though eBILL®.

To better assist clients in managing their raillcar maintenance, Bourque launched its Railcar Maintenance Services.
Leveraging the success of our rail systems, YardMaster® Truck was released giving clients the ability to manage both rail and truck assets via a single system.
Our custom reporting application RAILPort® was released, providing functions to create and distribute custom reports.
Bourque Logistics’ partner company Tank & Container Management Systems (TCMS) is founded. This partnership provides the BL client base with international intermodal management software and services.
Shipper BI™ was released, to provide clients with advanced business intelligence and visualization capabilities. Bourque obtains it’s SOC 2 certification.
Advance Initiative
Bourque begins converting its applications to the .NET Platform (The Advance Initiative) and starts migration to Microsoft Azure.
